Coming Attractions: Movies to Look Forward to in November 2023

A Thanksgiving slasher from Eli Roth, new Hunger Games and Marvel movies, and plenty more make for a jam-packed November at the movies.

Spooky season has come and gone, which brings in the chillier months and plenty of new movies to warm up with. As the temperature and the leaves change colors so too does the kind of movies we’ll be getting from theaters this month, so bundle up and check out our list of all the biggest upcoming releases.

A new pair of slashers (one of them from Eli Roth) should keep our horror tastes satisfied for now, while the rest of November is looking to launch the upcoming slew of award-seeking films for the holiday season. There’s plenty of new and fresh stories to enjoy as well as a couple of franchise additions as well. Let us know what movies you're looking forward to the most!

Priscilla November 3rd (Theaters)

From esteemed filmmaker Sofia Coppola, when teenager Priscilla Beaulieu (Cailee Spaeny) meets Elvis Presley (Jacob Elordi) at a party, the man who's already a meteoric rock 'n' roll superstar becomes someone entirely unexpected in private moments: a thrilling crush, an ally in loneliness, and a gentle best friend.


The Marsh King’s Daughter November 3rd (Theaters)

Helena’s (Daisy Ridley) seemingly ordinary life hides a dark and dangerous truth: her estranged father is the infamous Marsh King (Ben Mendelsohn), the man who kept her and her mother captive in the wilderness for years. When her father escapes from prison, Helena will need to confront her past. Knowing that he will hunt for her and her family, Helena must find the strength to face her demons and outmaneuver the man who taught her everything she knows about surviving in the wild.

The Killer November 10th (Theaters / Netflix)

Solitary, cold, methodical and unencumbered by scruples or regrets, a killer (Michael Fassbender) waits in the shadows, watching for his next target. Yet, the longer he waits, the more he thinks he's losing his mind, if not his cool. After a fateful near miss, the assassin battles his employers - and himself - on an international hunt for retribution he insists isn't personal. From director David Fincher.

It’s a Wonderful Knife November 10th (Theaters)

A year after saving her town from a psychotic killer on Christmas Eve, Winnie Carruthers’ (Jane Widdop) life is less than wonderful - but when she wishes she’d never been born, she finds herself in a nightmare parallel universe and discovers that without her, things could be much, much worse. Now the killer is back, and she must team up with the town misfit to identify the killer and get back to her own reality.

The Marvels November 10th (Theaters)

Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris). Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels."

Dream Scenario November 10th (Theaters)

Hapless family man Paul Matthews (Nicolas Cage) finds his life turned upside down when millions of strangers suddenly start seeing him in their dreams. When his nighttime appearances take a nightmarish turn, Paul is forced to navigate his newfound stardom.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes November 17th (Theaters)

This franchise prequel follows a young Coriolanus (Tom Blyth) who is the last hope for his failing lineage, the once-proud Snow family that has fallen from grace in a post-war Capitol. With his livelihood threatened, Snow is reluctantly assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler), a tribute from the impoverished District 12. But after Lucy Gray’s charm captivates the audience of Panem, Snow sees an opportunity to shift their fates. Thanksgiving November 17th (Theaters)

After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorizes Plymouth, Massachusetts – the birthplace of the holiday. Picking off residents one by one, what begins as random revenge killings are soon revealed to be part of a larger, sinister holiday plan. Will the town uncover the killer and survive the holidays…or become guests at his twisted holiday dinner table?

Napoleon November 22nd (Theaters)

Napoleon is a spectacle-filled action epic that details the checkered rise and fall of the iconic French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, played by Oscar-winner Joaquin Phoenix. Saltburn November 22nd (Theaters)

Academy Award winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) brings us a beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire. Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, student Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan) finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi), who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten.
