The single lands as both head out on ‘The Void Eternal’ Tour along with Static Dress and UnityTX.

Following the recent unveiling of their dynamic single, “Chewing the Scenery”- the band’s first offering since the 2021 Isaac Hale-produced full length, The Romance of Affliction – SeeYouSpaceCowboy has delivered a second serving of their next phase with a special collaboration.

Enlisting the aid of firebrand Nothing, Nowhere, the tandem have release their joint effort in “Rhythm and Rapture”. The track showcases SYSC’s melodic sensibilities while offering an IRL glimpse of the combination to come as both SeeYouSpaceCowboy and Nothing, Nowhere begin a North American tour today, September 5th along with Static Dress and UnityTX.

The stylistic departure for SYSC was be design as the band tapped into an era where dance music and punk went hand in hand. “This song was created out of a desire to mix 00’s dancey indie rock like Foals, Cut Off Your Hands, and Bloc Party with a post-hardcore sound,” explains SYSC lead, Connie Sgarbossa.

“We wanted to create a song in a style we’ve never done before that really reflects the variety of what we grew up listening to. Outside of just nostalgia, wanted to make something that was more focused on being dancey and fun like parts we had all the way back in the Songs For The Firing Squad era, but with less dissonance and more embracing the joy of simplicity. Even though it sounds like a wild departure it has its roots in stuff we have done with SYSC in the past, just expanded and with a different flavor.”

Nothing,Nowhere shared his thoughts on the joint project. “I’m honored to have been a part of this track with SYSC. They’re one of my favorite bands and are always pushing boundaries.”

The infectious single arrives as SeeYouSpaceCowboy launch an extensive fall tour supporting Nothing. Nowhere. The run includes festival plays at both Louder Than Life and Aftershock. See a complete list of dates and cities below.
