Slipknot punctuate 2021 with Knotfest Los Angeles
The long-awaited, heavily anticipated live return of Slipknot, now has a confirmed date of November 5th, 2021. The Southern California edition of the band’s ever-evolving, counter culture pilgrimage of music and art in Knotfest, will again descend the Southland, this time, holding court within the new confines of Banc of California Stadium - right in the heart of Los Angeles.

Punctuating a 2021 that has seen the band mount an undeniable charge of momentum, the long-standing tradition within the heavy cultural universe sees Slipknot billed atop a concise, albeit focused curation of aggression, with Bring Me the Horizon, Killswitch Engage, Fever 333, Code Orange, emerging outfit Vended - and boasting a special appearance from the fiery aerial Cherry Bombs.
The announcement of Knotfest Los Angeles follows the recent unveiling of Knotfest Iowa, Slipknot’s monumental homecoming performance slated for September 25th. Touting a historic, well-rounded, multi-generational line up that includes Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb of God, $uicideboy$, Gojira, Trivium, Tech N9ne, Fever 333, Knocked Loose, Turnstile, Gatecreeper, and Vended - Slipknot asserted that after more than two decades, they remain leaders within heavy culture.
Knotfest Los Angeles will serve as the bookend to the Knotfest Roadshow, which will see Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Fever 333, and Code Orange caravan across the country for a 24-date trek, anchored by the kind of line-up that truly indicates the health and heartbeat of aggressive music and outsider art.
The itinerary of 2021 that now includes Knotfest Iowa, Knotfest Roadshow, and Knotfest Los Angeles, coincides with the 20th anniversary of Slipknot’s seminal sophomore album, Iowa. Though the details have yet to be released, there will be a special commemorative capsule that will feature merch and multimedia content specific to the Iowa era. In addition, the Slipknot Museum which has remained an integral component to the Knotfest experience, will bring into focus the Iowa-chapter of the band with a comprehensive collection of items specific to the cycle.
Among the added amenities included in the Knotfest Los Angeles experience include whisky tasing at Slipknot’s award-winning small batch Iowa whiskies at the No.9 Whiskey Bar and the activation of Knotfest’s ongoing curation of heavy culture and craft beer with the Knotfest Beer Pit - pouring a meticulous selection of metal-influenced and band-branded beers.
Tickets for Knotfest Los Angeles will be available on pre-sale to OT9 and KNOTFEST.com subscribers from 9am and 10am Pacific time respectively on July 27th, with a general on-sale from 10am Pacific on July 30th, over at KnotfestLosAngeles.com.
