Adam Russell (Story Of The Year) talks 'Page Avenue', My Chemical Romance and The Worst Year and a Half in his life

Adam Russell of Story Of The Year has played giant shows, headlined tours and has a platinum album under his belt. Adam now joins Throwback Throwdown with Toomey to go down memory lane. The guys talk about Adam joining the Pre-SOTY band Big Blue Monkey, meeting John Feldman and signing with Maverick Records. Adam talks about touring with Deftones and Chi taking a liking to the band. Adam and Joshua look back at the SOTY and My Chemical Romance tour. Adam talks about them not only being smelly but blowing up during that tour. He states "It was great to see them pop off". Adam touches on all the SOTY albums and their process in writing riffs. He also lets us know about his time in D.R.U.G.S. and how it was the worst year and a half in his life.
