The final week of October offers up some brand new original horror stories across streaming and the long-awaited Five Nights at Freddy's movie on Peacock

NOW STREAMING:

‘When Evil Lurks’ (Shudder)

The residents of a small rural town discover that a demon is about to be born among them. They desperately try to escape before the evil is born, but it may be too late. The perfect Halloween watch, for those brave enough.

‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ (Peacock)

The terrifying horror game phenomenon becomes a blood-chilling cinematic event, as Blumhouse— the producer of M3GAN, The Black Phone and The Invisible Man— brings Five Nights at Freddy’s to the big screen. Or, in this case, the small screen too. The film follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through.

‘American Horror Stories: Huluween Event’ (Hulu)

American Horror Stories is an anthology series that features a different horror story each episode. In this special four-part event, artificial intelligence and online friends make for a terrifyingly potent mix of new original scary tales.

‘The Enfield Poltergeist’ (Apple TV+)

Experience the chilling true story of the world’s most famous poltergeist case through original audio recordings made inside the house as the events unfolded.

‘30 Coins (Season 2)’ (Max)

Father Vergara, an exorcist, boxer and ex-convict exiled to a remote town in Spain, enlists the help of the mayor and a veterinarian when a series of paranormal phenomena begins to occur. In season 2, a new enemy feared by even the devil himself will put the world at risk.

‘Pain Hustlers’ (Netflix)

Dreaming of a better life for her and her young daughter, Liza (Emily Blunt) lands a job from Pete (Chris Evans) at a failing pharma start-up, where Liza’s charm, drive, and guts catapult her into the high life and the company into the center of a criminal conspiracy with dire consequences.

‘No Hard Feelings’ (Netflix)

On the brink of losing her home, Maddie finds an intriguing job listing: helicopter parents looking for someone to bring their introverted 19-year-old son out of his shell before college. She has one summer to make him a man or die trying.

‘Master Gardener’ (Hulu)

Master Garderner follows Narvel Roth, the meticulous horticulturist of Gracewood Gardens. He is as much devoted to tending the grounds of this beautiful and historic estate, to pandering to his employer, the wealthy dowager Mrs. Haverhill. When Mrs. Haverhill demands that he take on her wayward and troubled great-niece Maya as a new apprentice, chaos enters Narvel’s spartan existence, unlocking dark secrets from a buried violent past that threaten them all.

‘Studio 666’ (Prime Video)

The Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock 'n' roll history to record their much anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band members.

‘Susie Searches’ (Hulu)

An awkward college student with a failing true-crime podcast seizes the opportunity to bolster her popularity by solving the mysterious disappearance of the campus heartthrob.
