Regarded as one of hardcore's preeminent annual events, Sound and Fury has just dropped the first confirmation of bands and the roster of artists is already stacked.

The summer tradition is set return to Exposition Park in Los Angeles on July 13th and 14th. Following last year's spectacle which included sets from Trapped Under Ice, a reunited Twitching Tongues, Aussie standouts Speed, as well as more metal forward bands like Dying Wish, Fugitive and Sanguisugabogg, the 2024 installment of the hardcore pilgrimage has already leveled up the bar.

Among the highlights from the first wave of confirmed bands include sets from Have Heart, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Sunami, Harms Way, Fleshwater, Chat Pile, Twitching Tongues and the return of Weekend Nachos.

The beloved Illinois hardcore band made their return for the first time since 2017 last year when they joined Harms Way for their Common Suffering release show at The Metro in Chicago.

Along with the confirmation of the first wave of bands, Sound and Fury have also shared that 8 more bands will be announced in the coming weeks. Sound and Fury will also be curating a weeklong series of events leading up to the festival weekend, following their roadmap set in 2023. Pre-shows, pop-ups and even a live broadcast of the Hardlore podcast were among last year's added festivities, with this year expected to follow suit.
