Gatecreeper Unveil West Coast/Southwest Tour With Undeath, Jarhead Fertilizer and Final Gasp

- By Ramon Gonzales

The run will conclude with a hometown set in Arizona that will serve as the album release show for their highly anticipated Nuclear Blast Records debut, Dark Superstition.

Among extreme music's most exciting, emerging practitioners, Gatecreeper continue to mount an impressive charge en route to the arrival of their next full length album, Dark Superstition

Having already confirmed their spot as key support under Swedish melodic-metal icons In Flames for an extensive North American run this spring, Gatecreeper have now confirmed their own headlining trek following the conclusion of the supporting stretch.

Touching down in territories across West Coast and Southwest cities, Gatecreeper have lined up contemporaries Undeath as well as emerging sensations like Jarhead Fertilizer and Final Gasp for a two week run punctuated by a hometown set in Mesa, AZ on June 8th that will serve as the band's album release celebration.

Having previewed their next chapter earlier this year with the unveiling of "Caught In the Treads" - Gatecreeper offered testament to the influence of the Swedish sound in heavy music with their own ferocious take.

Dark Superstition marks the debut release on Nuclear Blast Records and the first release studio release since the band's heralded 2021 EP An Unexpected Reality - a surprise effort that included zero fan fare, and asserted the dynamic range of the band covering the spectrum extreme music.

Enlisting elite level personnel to oversee the assembly of the songs on the album, Gatecreeper tapped the likes of Kurt Ballou of Converge and Fred Estby of the legendary Dismember to loan their expertise to the effort. Asserting their adaptive ability as songwriters and metal craftsman, Dark Superstition embraces themes of the metaphysical and mystical, while framing the breadth the band's musical brutality.

Along with the album announcement earlier this month, Gatecreeper debuted the single, "The Black Curtain". The rock-leaning cut showcases Gatecreeper's distilled version of heft, refined from a varied collection of timeless influences and modernized with flawless execution. The track comes packaged with a compelling video from director Max Moore.

Pre-sale tickets for the Gatecreeper headlining dates will be available starting March 28th at 10am local time. General on sale begins March 29th at 10am local time. See the complete list of Gatecreeper dates below. Get tickets - HERE
